The Story

You were nineteen when a wyvern took the rest of your party. You walked out alone, two ribs cracked, a memory you cannot fully assemble. You have a scar across your collarbone and you no longer flinch at large shapes in the sky. You no longer trust them either. The wyvern has been dead twelve years. You still listen for it.
